Building Together, a City of God

Got Problems?

Got Problems?

Hello friends,

Are the problems of life weighing you down? Are there questions, needs, and desires that you just don’t have the answers to? If so, I would like to point you to Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all of life’s troubles, and the path to lasting joy.

The bible tells us that Jesus Christ is “The Way, The Truth, and The Life” and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). He said of Himself “I have come that you might have life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10)

Another way to say this is Jesus has come to give you the life that really is life.

How many times have you thought something was going to be good, only to be disappointed, or worse? Life is full of setbacks and pitfalls. There are so many ways to get derailed and be so disappointed, even hopeless. You can find in Jesus, the life that does not leave you hopeless and disappointed.

Of course, when we suffer setbacks due to our own failures, addictions, and bad decisions, it can be obvious that we need a different way. But many people, find that even when they seem to succeed at achieving their goals, and plans, it still doesn’t satisfy.

That was the case in my own life. I actually thought of myself as successful. I owned my own business, had employees who worked for me, and was able to do most of the things I wanted to. Yet, there was such a lack of meaningful purpose. Something was missing, and I knew it. For a long time I did not even realize what was missing, just something. When I achieved some great milestone, the satisfaction quickly faded, and sometimes even turned to sadness. What was the purpose of it all? Moreover, what happens when it is all over?

Then, through an amazing series of events, I found Jesus. I can tell you from personal experience that you will find in Jesus both HELP for today and HOPE for tomorrow. He really is our all in all.

Whatever your needs are today, whether they are:

  • Addictions
  • Grief
  • Anxiety
  • Financial worry
  • Lack of needed provisions
  • Feeling unwanted
  • Need for acceptance
  • Fear of the future
  • Lack of meaningful purpose
  • Help with relationships
  • Success in business or career
  • Education
  • Friends and community
  • Peace in the storm
  • Sickness and healing
  • Faith to believe
  • Assurance of eternal life
  • Forgiveness of sins
  • Forgiving others
  • Overcoming strongholds

And so many more

The bible tells us that there is no temptation (trial, ordeal, struggle) that has taken us except what is common to man. But God is faithful, and will always make a way …. That we can bear it.

Why not call on Jesus today? Just ask Him, right now to forgive your sins, redeem you life, and be the Lord of your life from now on.

If you have made that decision, or if you need help in any of these areas, I hope that you will contact me. I would like to pray with you. Just send me an email, or better still, visit us at Fountain of Life Church.

We meet here every Sunday at 10:30. I trust that you will feel right at home, and you will find a diverse group of people, just like you, who are also finding in Jesus, all the fullness of God.

God Bless,

Pastor Stout
